Job summary

Towcester Medical Centre is seeking 2 part time or 1 full time General Practitioner to join our supportive, forward-thinking team. We are a well-established practice with a strong emphasis on high-quality patient care, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will provide high-quality, patient-centred care as part of a supportive and inclusive multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities and features of the role include:

  • Undertaking 12 15-minute patient appointments per session

  • Working collaboratively with GP partners and the wider practice team, including attendance at practice meetings

  • Participation in a daily morning coffee meeting, supporting communication and team cohesion

  • Sessions delivered between 08:45 and 18:30, with flexibility around finish times

  • Acting as Clinician of the Day (COD) on a rotational basis, supporting triage within a full total triage system and strong team-working framework

  • Benefit from 6 weeks annual leave, plus 1 week study leave (pro-rata)
