We are looking
for a fulltime/part-time (37.5/30 hrs per week) administrator to join our friendly
team.
We are looking
for an enthusiastic individual who can provide administrative support in
relation to the operational day to day running of the practice. We are looking
for either full or part-time hours.
We are looking
for somebody who has excellent organisational, communication and IT skills.

Main duties of the job
You will
provide administration support in relation to the operational day to day
running of the practice. You will provide an efficient administration service
and together with clinical and other non-clinical staff will aim to develop
systems and processes that will enhance service provision to patients.

branch surgery in BD4. We currently serve over 11,000 patients.

Main duties
of the Job
- To telephone patients and book them in for their diabetes review appointments and process
admin referrals.
- To
arrange housebound patient clinics and admin referrals.
- To contact
and arrange patient appointments for coil clinics.
- To
arrange yearly Flu and Covid boosters for housebound patients.
- To
complete admin and prescription claims, CQRS claims and coil and IUD invoice claims on a
monthly basis.
- To
type and format clinical letters in a timely manner.
- To
complete complaints administration.
- Arrange,
organise and arrange meetings on a meeting planner for the year and arrange in
hours cover on practice training dates.
- Arrange
team calendars, diaries and email accounts.
- To
record minutes of meetings.
- Process
new starter and leaver documentation making sure all relevant checks are undertaken.
- Calculate
annual leave for staff.
- To
maintain records of attendance of training courses for staff and liaising with
other line managers to ensure that staff complete all required mandatory
training.
- To
arrange the medical students induction.
- To
update the website regularly ensuring that the site is up to date and accurate.
- To
provide admin support to the Practice Manager and Partners.
- To
arrange relevant site visits for Health and Safety, Fire, Calibration of
equipment etc.

first point of contact for IT issues and liaise with the IT helpdesk.
- To
provide cross cover administration support for staff when on leave.
- Run
searches and reports as defined by the Partners and Management.
