Job summary

With the recent addition of General Practitioners to the ARRS scheme we are looking to recruit a newly qualified salaried General Practitioner, on an initial fixed term contract based at Strawberry Hill Medical Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified GP to gain experience of working within a busy urban practice.

Main duties of the job

Days of the week worked are negotiable but a Wednesday and Thursday would be preferred. The day (two sessions) would consist of 25 patients face to face in line with BMA safe working and 1 visit if needed. Visit rates are low. The patients will be a mix of acute and routine patients, with a preference for acute. You will not be holding a patient list or be expected to work as the on-call, duty doctor.

Reading is just a 30-minute drive away and the town and surrounding villages are ideally located for easy access into London, down to the West Country and north to Birmingham, Manchester and beyond.
