Job summary
Due to the retirement of a long-standing partner, Cannington
Health Centre has an exciting opportunity for a 4-session GP (2 full days) to
join the team in a salaried role. We are a dispensing practice with a list size
of approximately 5,200 patients.
Cannington Health Centre is a training practice supported by
three friendly and supportive partners, working alongside an experienced
multidisciplinary team.
Our clinical team includes an excellent nursing team
comprising advanced nurse practitioner, practice nurses, a HCA and a
phlebotomist. We also benefit from the expertise of MSK First Contact
Practitioners.
Working as an autonomous practitioner, you will be
responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our practice population,
ensuring an excellent standard of clinical practice in line with GMC, RCGP and
GMS contract requirements.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated GP to help us
continue delivering an excellent healthcare experience for all our patients. We
are a well-established and happy team who embrace integrated working and
innovative care models while staying true to the core values of general
practice.
Main duties of the job
You would undertake all the clinical duties associated with
a GP working in primary care, without the responsibilities and risks associated
with being a partner.
While patients at the practice are able to
consult with any GP, you will be assigned a pro-rata patient list for
administrative and record-keeping purposes. This allows you to provide
continuity of care for your own patients while contributing to the wider practice
workload
About us
- A supportive, forward-thinking team environment.
- Opportunities to develop specialist interests.
- Engagement in teaching, mentorship, and research activities.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Flexible working for the home-worklife-balance
Join Cannington Health Centre and be part of a team shaping the future of primary care. If you are passionate about patient care, innovation, and professional development, we would love to hear from you.
