Job summary

The Market Cross Surgery is seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated Maternity Locum GPs to join our friendly multidisciplinary team. Located in the charming market town of Mildenhall, Suffolk, we offer a supportive and collaborative working environment with excellent access to Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge perfect for a strong work-life balance.

Clinical system: SystmOne

Single-site dispensing practice

GP Registrar training practice

Experienced nursing, administrative, and reception teams

Primary Care Network with ARRS roles including paramedics, physiotherapists, social prescribers, health & well-being coaches, care coordinators, and clinical pharmacists all working collaboratively to provide excellent patient care

Timetabled daily coffee breaks

Weekly educational lunchtime meetings with lunch provided

Free onsite parking

Essential

  • Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
  • On or eligible for inclusion on the NHS Performers List
  • Up-to-date CPR certification and enhanced DBS
  • Evidence of recent appraisal and revalidation
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
