Job summary
The Kennet and Avon Medical Partnership is a large general practice. We are seeking a Quality
Assurance Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Your main role will be:
Ensure all incoming and internal patient correspondence is entered
on the patients medical record in a timely manner and forwarded to the correct
recipient, according to practice protocols.
Provide administrative support to the QA team.
Main duties of the job
Document
Processing Duties
Process all incoming patient related correspondence; whether it be
paper or electronic format
Scan/attach patient related documents onto their medical record
Add additional information about the source of the document
Forward the document to the relevant team/clinician according to
practice protocols
Ensure incoming letters are scanned onto the patient record on the
day they are received whenever possible
Store and/or dispose of documentation according to Practice
protocols
Enter data into patient records resulting from bulk collection
exercises, e.g. questionnaires
Administrative
Support
Provide
administrative support to other members of the QA team, which may include, but
not limited to:
o
Coding documents as part of workflow process, following practice
protocols including 111 reports
o
Printing and sending invitation letters
o
Being first point of contact for dashboard and NHS mail for QA team
o
Entering patient data, e.g. blood pressure readings; flu forms;
breast screening
In liaison with your team leader, any other tasks which might
reasonably be asked of you

KAMP is a dispensing general practice delivering care to around 17,500 patients in the market town of Marlborough, the village of Pewsey and the surrounding countryside. KAMP has a large team of clinical and non-clinical staff, providing support to our GPs, made up of 7 individual teams, Quality Assurance being one of the largest.

information from SystmOne to maintain accurate patient records, ensuring agreed
Read Codes are used as appropriate.
Participate in
overtime rota to cover sickness and holidays
Attend and
participate in Team and Practice meetings as required
Undertake any
training as necessary to ensure continued safe and efficient performance
Attend external
and in house mandatory training
Any other tasks
allocated by the Team Leaders, Practice Managers or GPs
To undertake
specific assigned tasks, project support, or development work which may arise
from time to time
