Job summary

Purpose of post: To work as part of the cleaning team ensuring that a high standard of cleanliness and good hygiene is maintained throughout the Practice.

Key roles and responsibilities:

To ensure that all areas of the Surgery are cleaned to a high standard.

To follow the appropriate guidelines with regards to; areas to be cleaned, products to be used and the disposing of cloths/rubbish.

To keep a check on cleaning materials and inform the Cleaning Supervisor/AGM when stock is low.

To ensure the safe and secure locking up of the buildings at the end of a shift.

To report any problems/highlight any risks to the Cleaning Supervisor/AGM.

To participate in any training that may be considered appropriate for your role.

To be flexible to the changing demands of the post, such as adapting to meet the new CQC guidelines.

To undertake other reasonable tasks appropriate to the post as required.

Main duties of the job

We are a friendly and hardworking team. You will be joining a team of 3 other cleaners and are needed to work 7 hours per week at The Woottons Surgery. The hours are Monday (17:30-19:30), Wednesday (17:30-20:30) and Friday (17:30-19:30).
