Dr Will Beacham, Dr Raju
Prabhakar, Dr Lucy Dugmore, Dr Debbie Milligan O.B.E & Dr Victoria Bates are
looking to recruit an energetic and hardworking salaried GP to join the team, to
complement our already established team of clinicians.
Our training practice currently
has five full time GP Partners, three salaried GPs and one long-term locum GP.
Our Acute Illness Team is overseen by a daily Duty Doctor and supported by three
paramedic practitioners, a Mental Health Practitioner and our MSK team. The
paramedic practitioners carry out most of our home visits for patients who are
unable to attend the practice. We also have a pharmacist, a social prescriber, three
practice nurses, two HCAs and two phlebotomists as well as the reception, administration,
and dispensary teams.
Swallowfield Medical Practice is part of the Wokingham South Primary Care Network (PCN) alongside one of our neighbouring practices. Dr Beacham and Dr Dugmore are the Clinical Directors for this PCN.
We are a friendly, semi-rural, dispensing GMS practice located just outside of Reading, close to the M4, with excellent transport links. As a forward-thinking practice, we aim to provide excellent care for our rising numbers of patients while retaining work life balance for our doctors and staff. This is evident in the strong team ethos and supportive working environment that we are very proud of maintaining.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a GP to join our team to provide primary healthcare to patients of all ages, manageing a wide range of medical conditions and promotin overall well-being. GP diagnose, treat and refer patients, acting as thei first point of contact for most healthcare needs. they also play a crucial role in proventative care , health edcuation and managing chronic illnesses.
