This is a senior leadership role at the core of our organisation one that balances strategic oversight with day-to-day operational excellence. Youll work closely with the GP Partners and our multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care, while ensuring the business runs smoothly and efficiently.

  • Oversee HR and people management including recruitment, staff development, wellbeing, and performance management.
  • Take responsibility for financial management: budgets, payroll, income streams (QOF, IIF, LES/DES, PCN), and business planning.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC, GDPR, DSPT, Health & Safety, and safeguarding standards.
  • Drive digital transformation, maximising tools such as Anima AI and Ardens Manager to streamline processes and improve outcomes.
  • Support strategic development, including estate planning and service expansion to meet future population needs.
  • Build strong relationships across our PCN, ICB, and local health networks, representing the practice at key forums.
  • Engage with our patient community through the PPG, digital platforms, and meaningful communication.
  • Work collaboratively with partners to maintain an efficient, compassionate, and sustainable practice environment.

  • Strong IT and digital literacy, including confidence with data analysis and practice systems.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience within primary care or NHS management.
  • Estates or project management experience.
  • A formal qualification in management, business, or healthcare leadership.

Terms and Conditions

  • Hours:Full-time (37.5 hours per week), with flexibility for a 4-day week or alternative arrangements.
  • Working:On-site leadership presence required; scope for some remote working.
