Job responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedAdvanced Care Practitioner or Paramedicto join our friendly and forward-thinking GP team at Wells Health Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive environment delivering high-quality, on-the-day acute care to our patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide same-day acute care consultations alongside our GPs.
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients autonomously within your scope of practice.
• Prescribe medications (ideally an independent prescriber).
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical setting.
• Collaborate closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Advanced Care Practitioner or Paramedic.
• Experience working in high-pressure environments.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Ideally, experience in a primary care setting.
• Independent prescribing qualification (desirable but not essential).
