Job summary
Collingham Church View Surgery is seeking enthusiastic
and motivated salaried GP, to join our friendly and forward-thinking team.
The successful postholders will work autonomously within
their professional scope, delivering high-quality primary medical care to our
registered population, in line with our PMS contract and NHS best practice.
Sessions are 3 per week, with a competitive salary
dependent on experience.
Main duties of the job
- Undertake a range of general practice consultations, including face-to-face, telephone and AccuRx Total Triage
- Undertake home visits as clinically required (supported by the paramedic team)
- Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred clinical care
- Manage acute presentations and long-term conditions
- Prescribe in line with local and national guidelines (within scope of practice)
- Support patients with health promotion, lifestyle advice and self-care
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
- Work collaboratively as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team
- Participate in clinical audit, quality improvement and service development
- Participate in duty doctor / clinical triage rotas

five-partner GP practice serving a semi-rural population of around 10000
patients from modern, purpose-built premises in Collingham.
