Job summary

Collingham Church View Surgery is seeking enthusiastic and motivated salaried GP, to join our friendly and forward-thinking team.

The successful postholders will work autonomously within their professional scope, delivering high-quality primary medical care to our registered population, in line with our PMS contract and NHS best practice.

Sessions are 3 per week, with a competitive salary dependent on experience.

Main duties of the job

  • Undertake a range of general practice consultations, including face-to-face, telephone and AccuRx Total Triage
  • Undertake home visits as clinically required (supported by the paramedic team)
  • Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred clinical care
  • Manage acute presentations and long-term conditions
  • Prescribe in line with local and national guidelines (within scope of practice)
  • Support patients with health promotion, lifestyle advice and self-care
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
  • Work collaboratively as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team
  • Participate in clinical audit, quality improvement and service development
  • Participate in duty doctor / clinical triage rotas

About us

Collingham Church View Surgery is a progressive, five-partner GP practice serving a semi-rural population of around 10000 patients from modern, purpose-built premises in Collingham.

Our well-established multi-disciplinary team includes:

Clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians (PCN team)

An in-house dispensary pharmacy

A dedicated paramedic team supporting home visits

A dedicated Management Team

A dedicated Administrative Team

We operate using SystmOne and AccuRx Total Triage, with 10-minute appointments to support safe, high-quality clinical care. The practice is part of the Wetherby Primary Care Network and actively engages in new models of care.
