Job summary

We are excited to be able offer a salaried GP vacancy to join our team under the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). This a great opportunity for a GP who is newly qualified. The post-holder must be within 2 years of completing their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).

We can offer 4-6 sessions per week and is initially a fixed term contract until 31st March 2026 with potential for extension and a possibility of a permanent post thereafter.

We are offering £10,500 per session and will enrol you in the NHS Pension scheme.

To be eligible you must be a newly qualified GP and have qualified within the last 2 years.

Main duties of the job

Core responsibilities of the Salaried GP.

In accordance with the practice rota, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries. Carrying out home visits for our Housebound patients, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, reviewing of clinical documentation and dealing with queries.

Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance.

Effective management of long-term conditions.

Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks.

Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance.

Work collaboratively, accepting a fair share of the practice workload.

Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process.

We are a friendly GMS training practice in the Beeston area of Leeds, operating from two sites with a patient population over 19,000.

10 GP Partners and 1 Salaried GP.

Strong Nursing Team including Nurse Practitioner, ACP (Paramedic) and Practice Matron.

Training both Registrars and FY2s.

SystmOne.

Full range of Enhanced Services delivered.

Member of the South and East GP Federation (SELGP).

The practice is a proactive member of Beeston and Hunslet & Middleton PCNs.

Assess and examine patients with a variety of health concerns.
