This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Research Team of Fylde Coast Clinical Research (FCCR), which is embedded within Layton Medical Centre, an NHS GP Practice in Blackpool.
Recognised as a national leader in recruitment to late Phase II/III clinical trials across a broad range of therapeutic areas, you will be working in a fast paced environment with our research participants at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for an experienced, detail-driven individual.
If successful you will play a pivotal role in developing and
managing effective partnerships that enhance our clinical research delivery and
improve patient outcomes. This role involves strategic collaboration with a
number of external organisations, including Sponsors, CROs, the NIHR, NHS primary
care partners, local authorities, voluntary sector partners, academic
institutions and the UK Vaccine Innovation Pathway Programme Office as well as with our community. Main duties of the job
The postholder will be expected to identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships and collaborations that
align with our FCCR organisational goals and enhance our service provision.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, project management and multi-organisational working with exceptional communication skills. They should have the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects and programmes at any one time which will have demanding and ambitious timelines, so prioritisation will be key.
The postholder will be expected to utilise administrative, analytical, financial, communication and interpersonal skills and have a proven aptitude for developing systems and structures.

- Significant understanding of commercial clinical research delivery. Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience in developing and managing partnerships within a healthcare or public sector setting Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects.
- Excellence in communication and collaboration and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Self-starter. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Ability to analyse data and produce insightful reports to inform decision-making. Advocate for our research participants.
