Job summary
Wanted: GP and penguin keeper, Didcot
Have you ever dreamt of galloping on a unicorn across sunset meadows to a backdrop of badgers foraging in the gloaming? If so, you're probably after our other advert. However, if you happen to be a GP with some time on their hands, you could always come and work with us instead. This is how we would see it happening: You would do some GP-type work, part-time or full-time, on-site or remotely, or a bit of both. We would pay you some money. What's not to like?
If you're a details sort of person, we could probably rustle up a job description, which may or may not have been downloaded off the internet with all the other ones out there. The penguin bit isn't too arduous - mainly just keeping an eye on their numbers and checking that they are being housed in suitable accommodation (sometimes an issue in summer when they can get a bit sticky in the heat). Full induction, training and mentoring provided.
If you would like to find out more, then an informal lunchtime visit is probably the best option. Or if you don't want to know more but just fancy a free cup of tea on your way through Didcot, jewel in the crown of South Oxfordshire) then that's okay as well.
