You will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of our services, participate in clinical meetings, and work closely with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

This is a diverse and rewarding role offering flexibility to develop special interests and pursue ongoing professional growth within a supportive, forward thinking practice.

We welcome applications from experienced ACP's or ANP's who are qualified to prescribe and confidently manage minor illness presentations. This role is ideal for a practitioner who is committed to delivering patient centred care and clinical excellence across a broad range of acute and chronic conditions.

You will be joining a progressive training practice that has continued to evolve in response to changing healthcare needs, ensuring we provide excellent patient care while protecting and supporting our valued team.

The ACP or ANP will play a key role in delivering high quality clinical care within the practice. The role involves the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and or referral of patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions. The postholder will work independently within their professional scope of practice, with regular debriefs and access to a supervising GP for advice throughout the day.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high standard of patient care using advanced autonomous clinical skills supported by a broad and indepth theoretical knowledge base.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patient conditions, initiating appropriate referrals when required.
  • Manage acute illnesses, long term conditions, and minor ailments confidently and safely.
  • As an independent prescriber, prescribe safe, effective, and appropriate medication in line with legislation and professional guidelines.
  • Contribute to the practices triage and urgent care systems.
  • Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and wider healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, highquality patient care.
  • Promote health and wellbeing using health education, screening, and therapeutic communication skills.
  • Maintain uptodate clinical knowledge and skills, with full support from the practice for ongoing training and professional development.

If you are a compassionate and motivated practitioner seeking a rewarding role within a supportive GP surgery, we would be delighted to hear from you.
