Job summary

The Cranborne Practice is seeking to recruit a Senior Practice Nurse to join our friendly and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated team player to join our friendly practice.

Main duties of the job

Your role will include chronic disease management, respiratory management, cytology, family planning, dressings, vaccinations and health promotion. Leadership of the nursing team, including clinical audits, infection control, managing and ordering stock and supplies.

Hours are negotiable.

Term time contract is possible to the right candidate.

  • The Cranborne Practice is seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and flexible senior Practice Nurse to join our team. Teamwork is also essential. We are a very popular and friendly practice with our main surgery in Cranborne and our branch site in Verwood Dorset with 12,500 patients and use SystemOne with Ardens. We are part of Crane Valley PCN.

    Duties will include cervical cytology, wound care, child immunisations, and travel vaccinations. The post will be for 18-37 hours per week, days and hours are negotiable for the right candidate. Leadership skills are essential. Salary dependant on experience and qualifications.

    5 weeks holiday pro rata

    Free on-site parking

    NHS pension

    Possible term time contract for right candidate
