We are a friendly, forward thinking and supportive practice. We are seeking a full time Practice Nurse to join our team.
Working closely with GP and nursing team colleagues, the post-holder will deliver a number of Treatment Room Clinics providing: wound care; cervical screening; vaccination and immunisations; blood tests and measurements (BP, BMI, ECG) etc.
Main duties of the job
In addition to the treatment room clinics, ideally the post-holder will support our chronic disease management with a focus on COPD / Asthma and Diabetes. However, training in these modules can be arranged.
We value the contribution that our nursing team makes and, in turn, we offer excellent support and opportunities for personal development. Training in treatment room competencies will be given and candidates will be supported in attaining chronic disease diplomas as required.

We are a dynamic, well established PMS Practice. We like to be proactive and train and develop our teams. We are a friendly 12 doctor practice with over 18,300 patients treated
over two purpose built sites. Our nursing team includes phlebotomists, HCAs, nurse associates, treatment room and chronic disease nurses. We also have a sexual health nurse and nurse practitioner and paramedic.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to: provide excellent patient care; assessing patient needs and planning, delivering and evaluating care provision. They will provide a professional service performing a range of relevant treatment room activities without direct supervision and providing support to the GPs. Treatment room experience and asthma and / or diabetes diplomas (or willingness to be complete this training) would be preferred.
