Job summary
We are looking for
a 6 to 8 session GP Partner to join our well established team at Burwell
Surgery.
Main duties of the job
As a GP partner you
will deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting. You will
be responsible for providing a high standard of care for all our patients.
About us
Burwell Surgery is a well-regarded dispensing and
training village practice with approximately 9,300 patients. Situated within easy reach of Cambridge and the A14. The premises are
purpose built and offer on-site parking for staff. We are committed to
excellent patient care.
We are a SystmOne practice, with high QOF achievement and CQC rating Good.
Burwell Surgery is also part of the South Ely PCN and enjoys an
excellent working relationship. As part of this, we also benefit from the
additional roles including First Contact Physiotherapist,
Clinical Pharmacist, Social prescriber and Health Coaches.
We use AskmyGP for patient online access and the GPs manage their own
rota booking to allow better control of own work and support continuity of
care for patients.
At Burwell Surgery we
pride ourselves in being a happy and friendly place to work and encourage the
development of special interests. We have an excellent Admin Team, Nursing Team and
Advanced Paramedic Practitioner working alongside the GPs.

You will carry out face to face and telephone
consultations, home visits, checking and signing prescriptions, dealing with
queries, following up results, paperwork and correspondence.
Alongside this you will work as part of the
partnership team, leading and shaping the future of the practice and there will
be an expectation that you will take on a key role for the practice.
