Job responsibilities
As a key member of our reception team, you will:
- Welcome patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
- Manage appointment bookings and maintain the computerised appointment system
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries appropriately
- Support patients with online forms and general practice enquiries
- Process and distribute prescriptions
- Provide administrative support including filing, scanning, photocopying and data processing
- Ensure patient information is handled securely and confidentially
- Help maintain a tidy and organised reception area
- Assist colleagues and provide guidance to less experienced team members
- Help with opening/closing the practice and maintaining security
- Support the team across multiple sites when required
Please note: This role includes weekend working on a rota basis.

- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Previous customer-facing role.
