An opportunity
has arisen for an enthusiastic, professional and experienced Diabetes Nurse ideally with advanced certification in delivering the management of
diabetes.
Stourside
Medical Practice is a forward thinking 6000 patient GP practice in the centre
of Halesowen. We are close to the West Midlands motorway network and on bus
routes from Birmingham and Wolverhampton. We are based in a modern health
centre with associated community services under one roof. We are a Training
Practice and have an experienced team of clinical and non-clinical staff which
include a paramedic, a First Contact Physio, First Contact Mental Health
worker.
We are looking
for someone to work 1 day a week to support with the management of our diabetes patients. This post would suit a nurse who is currently working in a hospital or in community and looking for variety one day a week. The candidate would have experience of insulin initiation and GLP1s. We also pay an enhanced rate for extended access shifts
which are currently available to work if desired by the successful candidate.

successful candidate will need experience of working with diabetic patients
whether that it is hospital/community setting or working within general
practice. They would help manage more complex diabetes patients who may need insulin initiation or titration as well as conducting the routine annual reviews with all diabetic patients.

We are an approved Training Practice with a trainee in post
