Main duties of the job
Job
Purpose
To provide high
quality care at a higher level of competence and practice for patients who
require clinical services provided by the Practice. This will include providing
definitive care based upon reaching a formal diagnosis for many patients,
ensuring safe care and aftercare.
As a Physician
Associate you are responsible for the provision of care proportionate to the
needs of the patient, based on their education, qualification, and scope of
practice. The purpose of the role is to provide care to patients to give the
best outcome for their needs. This will include clinical assessment and care
management to patients, offering advice or referral as appropriate.
The post holder
will be a key element of the Home Visiting Service (HVS) team, responsible for
providing a full holistic assessment within their clinical competencies to
housebound patients on behalf of their registered GP.
