Partnership opportunity
Due to retirement, we are looking to recruit 1 GP Partner to work 4 sessions per week. We are happy to look at a salaried position, if that is preferred or a salaried position with a view to partnership.
Start
date: Oct 2024 but prepared to wait for right candidate.
We are a small, friendly, rural dispensing practice of 4610
patients - 2.5 WTE.

and never have to take work home.
We are a high QOF achiever and are part of the Sherborne Area PCN.
Main duties of the job
Within your day you will be seeing registered patients both face-to-face and by telephone. We have a low demand for home visits and only have one residential care home within our area.
Within your day you would be expected to sign prescriptions, deal with pathology results, complete medical reports, referrals, letters and other correspondence/queries received into the practice.
We use SystmOne, accuRx and eConsult within the practice.
About us
We are a team of 3 GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA, 5 Reception/Administrators, 5 Dispensers, 1 Care Co-ordinator, 1 Practice Manager and 1 Assistant Practice Manager.
The traditional family doctor
role is very important to us, but we are enthusiastic about new opportunities.
Our Primary Care Network is well established and we are paired with like-minded practices with whom we have good working relationships. We share a host of PCN staff allowing our patients to be dealt with quicker and by the appropriate person for the patient's needs.
