Job summary

We are seeking a dynamic senior leader to drive strategic planning and System-wide long-term transformation on behalf of Gloucestershire GP Collaborative. This role is ideal for someone operating at Director or Assistant/Deputy Director level who excels in system leadership and complex change.

Practicalities

This is a leadership role, entailing frequent in-person meetings, but some home-working is possible.

The role will be based at our newly built, bespoke offices in central Gloucester, with frequent travel to other sites in Gloucestershire, and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK. You must be able to travel independently.

We offer flexibility about hours, with a minimum of 28 per week over at least 4 days, up to whole-time equivalent (37.5). Provided that you make yourself available to attend meetings etc, working hours can be flexed, to suit family or other commitments.

Eligible for the NHS pension scheme.

Main duties of the job

Lead strategic development, planning, and delivery of transformation programmes across Gloucestershire, working with system partners including the ICB, NHS providers, local authorities, and voluntary/community sectors.

Shape and implement strategic direction and drive high-impact change programmes on behalf of Gloucestershire GP Collaborative.

Identify strategic opportunities in Neighbourhood Health, ensuring the Collaborative is well placed as an equal and trusted system partner

Reports to: Chief Executive, Gloucestershire GP Collaborative
