We are looking for an experienced Finance Administrator
(Part-time 12-15) hours per week with at least a minimum of 1 year experience
working within a Finance Department.
The Care Quality Commission requires us to have a complete employment history from the age of 16, including explanations for any gaps in employment.

Main duties of the job
The role is supporting the payroll lead in the day to day running of the finance office. You should be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work on your own initiative and used to meeting tight deadlines.
- Working alongside payroll lead, support preparing the monthly payroll processing and payroll admin duties.
- Work closely with HR to ensure all employee records are accurate.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team.

Working alongside a small friendly team, supporting on the following:
- Working alongside payroll lead, support preparing the monthly payroll processing and payroll admin duties.
- Work closely with HR to ensure all employee records are accurate.
- Raise sales invoices as required.
- Support with quarterly reimbursement claims.
- Credit control, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
- Income reconciliation for dispensary payments and credit card terminals.
- Support with supplier queries and purchase ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor and manage petty cash across each practice.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team.

Frequent, prolonged VDU use.

- You should dress appropriately and professionally. To reduce the risk of sharps injuries, shoes should be closed (not open sandals).
- You must ensure that your car is insured for commuting and for any business use, if applicable (e.g. home visits if part of your role).
- GP staff in Gloucestershire have been the victims of serious & sustained stalking and violence. You should not give anyone outside the Practice information about when and where colleagues will be working. Refer any queries about rotas etc to the Practice Manager or G DOC. Be aware that stalkers may have knowledge of the local healthcare system and sound very plausible.
