Main duties of the job
Gloucester Inner City PCN has an exciting opportunity
for an enthusiastic and experienced coordinator.
The successful candidate will become an integral
part of the team, with responsibility for undertaking a wide range of
administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the
Primary Care Network and team.
The PCN Coordinator will assist the Business
Manager and Clinical Directors with their relationships and engagement with the
PCN practices and other stakeholders across the locality to ensure a
collaborative approach to service development and delivery.
You will also work closely with the Business
Manager and relevant teams and practices to support network implementation and
the standardisation of agreed services, contracts, policies, and quality
improvement initiatives.

Gloucester Inner city primary care network consists of the following practices; Partners in Health, Severnside Medical Practice, Gloucester Health Access Centre/Matson Lane Surgery and Kingsholm Surgery.

The following are the core responsibilities of the PCN Coordinator.
There may on occasion be a requirement to carry out other tasks. This will be
dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
Support and coordination
of PCN meetings, to include preparing agendas, taking minutes, and arranging diaries.
Office
administration support including creating, maintaining, and updating HR
documentation to support the efficient operation of the team.
In the
absence of the Business Manager, to act as first point of contact for PCN
partners to support prompt response to requests for information.
Prepare
reports and analyse data from SystmOne.
To
support in the delivery of enhanced services and other service requirements.
Oversight and
management of PCN staff Rotas, room allocation, and Annual Leave requests
Assist in the
preparation of reports, maintenance of up to date and accurate financial
records and spreadsheets. Managing timesheets and preparing payroll, chasing
outstanding invoices where necessary.
Undertake any tasks consistent with the level of the post and the
scope of the role, ensuring that work is delivered in a timely and effective
manner.
Confidentially deal with all aspects of recruitment, from writing
job adverts, shortlisting and interviewing applicants then following through to
induction stage onwards.
