Job summary

We are looking for a practice nurse to join our supportive team in either a full time or part time role.

Kingston Health Centre cares for over 28,500 patients from our modern, purpose-built premises in the heart of Kingston upon Thames. We have an excellent reputation locally, both with patients and as a place to work.

Our practice has grown significantly over the years, but we have maintained a friendly, patient focused approach and our nursing team in particular, receive excellent feedback for the care they provide our patients.

More about us:

You will be joining an experienced team of 2 practice nurses, 1 lead nurse, 2 phlebotomists, 1 HCA and 1 nurse associate

We are open from 07:00-20:00 Mon-Fri , we would consider both part time and full time applications

Daily 10am coffee meetings for the whole team to catch up

Fortnightly educational podcasts produced in hours by our GP team

6 weeks annual leave plus bank holiday entitlement pro rata

We are an expanding team, and you will be working alongside Dieticians, GPs, trainee GPs, Health & Wellbeing Coaches, First Contact Practitioners, Social prescribers, Pharmacy team and admin and reception teams

Main duties of the job

Your role would be to provide clinical care to our patients including childhood immunisations, vaccinations, wound care, cervical screening and health promotion. You will also help to support patients with chronic disease management, although the majority of our disease management is GP led.
