Salaried GPs Part or Full Time

Job summary

We are a large training practice in Holbrooks, Coventry, currently seeking a Salaried GPs to help us deliver the highest standards of care for our patients.

Medical Indemnity Cover will be provided.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

In general, the post holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working in Primary Care, such as: Sessional appointments, including 1-2 'Duty GP' / on-call sessions per week, home visits, telephone, face to face and online consultations, admin work including participating in the 'GP Buddy System'

Participate in cross cover arrangements to cover whilst colleagues are on leave.

Keep contemporaneous, accurate and legible records of all patient contacts and contribute to electronic data recording and audit as directed by the service.

Prescribe, issue prescription and treatments according to agreed protocols and local guidance, within scope of competence.

Contribute to evaluation / audit, significant event reporting and clinical standard setting within the service.

Develop and encourage positive working relationships with PCN, CCG, local GP Practices, housing, social work, voluntary services, drug and alcohol, mental health, dental, secondary care and other appropriate services.

Pursue continuing professional and personal development.

Participate in operational and strategic planning for the development of the practice.

Maintains GMC registration and license to practice.
