Job summary

We are looking to appoint a Data Input Clerk/Clinical Coder to assist with keeping our patients records accurate and up to date.

We would like to take on an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to work within our dedicated team.

Main duties of the job

The role involves accurately extracting and interpreting medical information from clinical letters and coding data into the EMIS clinical system.

You will be responsible for making decision whether documents should be work-flowed to other members of the team, any follow up action is needed, and any other tasks associated with the management of incoming documents.

We are a friendly and committed family practice.

At Walderslade, we comprise of 4 GP partners, 6 salaried GPs, an excellent nursing team of Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants, and a supportive and experienced administration team.

We use EMIS Web as our clinical system.
