Job Summary/Hours:
Monday, Weds, Thurs, Fri across 32 hours.
We are seeking a hardworking, and detail orientated individual to join our GP practice based in Beverley. You will be working as part of our administrative team to deliver an efficient, high standard level of administrative support.
The role will require at least one 7:45 am start and one 6pm finish. We are open on a Tuesday evening until 8pm and the successful candidate will be placed on a rota to work this shift (approx 1 in 8).
The position would especially suit an applicant withprevious experience in a primary care setting, however training will be provided to the right candidate.Candidate must have excellent communication skills, and have the ability to work in a pressured environment of a busy practice.

Main duties of the job
To ensure the effective and efficient administration of the Practice.
To provide day-to-day management of all workloads and tasks within the Practice.
Coding incoming clinical letters efficiently and effectively and appropriately completing any required actions.
Summarising of new patient records.
Proactively communicating information between relevant patients and clinicians.
To develop and maintain individual and team performance.
To ensure compliance with all current health and safety and employment legislation.
As a Care Navigator you will be expected to:-
Offer general assistance to the practice team, patients and visitors to the practice, either in person or over the telephone
Receive and direct patients courteously and efficiently so that they can access the appropriate service or healthcare professional without difficulty.
Undertake various administrative duties which contribute to the smooth running of the Practice.
Ensure communication to and from patients, other members the primary care team and external agencies is processed accurately and within the necessary timescales.
