Job summary

Provide a range of administrative support across practices, adhering to group policy and processes. Administration of patient results, incoming documents and allocation of tasks to clinicians where appropriate.

Main duties of the job

To ensure that all test results are actioned and processed in a timely manner.

To process incoming documents in accordance with practice policy using Ez doc system.

To manage incoming emails and distribute appropriately.

Recall patients for bloods, injections, reviews etc.

All other aspects of administration within the group to include prescriptions, registrations, movement of records, shared care agreements etc.

Job responsibilities

GENERAL DUTIES

To work flexibly to ensure that tasks are carried out appropriately and efficiently, including a willingness to provide cover for absent colleagues.

To be aware of the HLMG Policies and Procedures.

To be aware and ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations in relation to the job function.

To undertake any other tasks commensurate with the post

Skills

SystmOne experience desirable but not essential.

Excellent written and communication skills

Ability to use own initiative

High level of IT literacy due to reliance on data management and digital & IT systems

Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise effectively with minimal supervision working to tight and challenging timescales

Flexibility and adaptability

Ability to concentrate on producing high quality work in a noisy, and busy work environment under pressure to meet tight deadlines (and competing demands) where the work pattern is unpredictable.

Excellent organisational skills with an attention to detail

Good communication skills

Methodical and systematic approach
