We are seeking an enthusiastic GP to join our friendly team. We are
looking for 4 -6 sessions per week, and will be flexible for the right
candidate.
Circa £10,000 per annum
We encourage applications from both experienced and newly qualified GPs.

Main duties of the job
During your defined hours of work you will provide medical services to
any patients of the Partnership list and to temporary residents in accordance
with the Partnership GMS Contract.

Ensuring compliance with the Partnership Protocols and Policies with
regard to achieving QOF targets
Participating in clinical governance activity and contributing to the
improvement in quality of health outcomes through audit program.
some of the duties may include (but not restrictedto) Clinical Queries, Prescription tasks, Blood results, reports, workflow, Supporting letters and correspondence.

The current Practice team consists of 5 GP partners, Salaried GP's as
well as a multi-disciplined team consisting of Clinical Pharmacists, ,Advanced
Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Paramedics, Mental health
practitioners, Physicians Associate, social prescriber, Care Navigator as well
as non-clinical staff. We currently have approximately11,000 patients. We are based in our own purpose built property our opening hours are 08:30 to 18:30 monday to Friday

Job responsibilities
During your defined hours of work you will provide medical services to any patients of the Partnership list and to temporary residents in accordance with the Partnership GMS Contract. Your responsibilities will include the following:-
- Responding to medical problems presented by patients, including history taking, examination, investigation, diagnosis, treatment and referral where appropriate.
- Providing appropriate preventative health care and advice.
- Providing free certification in line with Schedule 9 of NHS GMS Regulations (1992).
- Providing services outside GMS as specified in contracts held by the ICB or as specified in contracts for services with other NHS or non-NHS organisations.
- Adhering to the BSol Prescribing Formulary.
- Ensuring compliance with the Practice Protocols and Policies with regard to achieving QOF targets
- Preparing medical reports for insurance companies, employers and statutory bodies.
- Attending weekly meetings and education meetings held on days when you are at work.
- Contributing to the development of and adhering to protocols/systems for the management of common medical conditions.
- Participating in clinical governance activity and contributing to the improvement in quality of health outcomes through the audit programe.
- Clinically related administrative and non-clinical duties necessary for the delivery of GMS.
- Engaging in appropriate educational activity in order to maintain clinical competence and performance, including the completion of objectives agreed by yourself and the Practice in an annual Personal Development Plan.
- Participating in the training and development of nurses, medical students and GP Registrars in the Practice.
- Supporting the staff and responding to requests for advice and assistance from the Partnership Reception, Secretarial and Nursing staff.
- To maintain the Partnerships high clinical standards by using clinical governance audits and other information to review patients results, prescribing, disease etc.
- To undertake those daily tasks such as results, letters, reports, repeat prescribing etc. for all patients as required
- To maintain the financial security of the organisation by ensuring accurate and efficient responses to income generation such as reports, dispensed prescriptions, private forms etc.
- At all times to behave in a professional way that encourages quality practice and the development of team spirit.
