Job summary
The successful
candidate will take responsibility for managing the finances and the governance
of Spen Health & Wellbeing Primary Care Network (PCN) and its Limited
Company (SPEN PCN Ltd). They will act as a point of expertise and support for
practices, ensuring financially auditable processes are adhered to, contractual
requirements are met and coordinating governance requirements.
We are looking for 15hrs per week. Please indicate on your application your preferred working pattern.
The appointee
will work alongside, and be line-managed by, the Clinical Director and will be
accountable to the PCN Board.
Main duties of the job
General duties
- Convening meetings
- Identifying and
recording risk and issues, including developing contingency plans
- Reporting on PCN
contracts

Financial
management

About us
Spen Health and Wellbeing Primary Care Network is an alliance of seven GP practices within Cleckheaton, Liversedge and Heckmondwike, working together under the direction of NHS England for the benefit of its collective patient group.
We aim to align and improve services in the area for our 52,400 registered patients. Our patients are placed at the centre of our care and service delivery. The Board is comprised of GPs, Practice Managers and ANPs from our seven practices - Brookroyd Surgery, Cleckheaton Group Practice, Cook Lane Surgery, The Greenway Medical Practice, Liversedge Health Centre, Parkview Surgery and Undercliffe Surgery.
