Job summary

Are you a motivated person with a good level of computer knowledge and an inquisitive mind?

We are looking for a Part Time QOF Administrator to work 24 hours a week over three days with a half hour unpaid lunch break each day. Previous medical and audit experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. The successful candidate must also have the ability to work on their own initiative and be organised.

Benefits will include 4 Weeks Annual Leave, NHS Pension Scheme, and uniform supplied.

Main duties of the job

Responsible for: Overseeing QOF (Quality and Outcomes Framework) on a day to day basis

Ensure a good working knowledge of Emis Appointments . Maintain and update disease area lists. Contact patients and arrange appointments as per QOF and Les (Local Enhanced Services) criteria. Monitor Enhanced Services and complete quarterly returns. Oversee immunisation catch ups. Monitor and arrange 24 Hour Blood Pressure Appointments and Hypertension clinics, Arrange Diabetic Meetings,and Paula Carr Eye screening. Run reports on the clinical system as directed by the Senior Practice Nurse or Practice Manager.Undertake any other duties that may be assigned to the QOF Administrator by the Senior Practice Nurse or Practice Manager. Oversee the yearly Flu Vaccination Programme Recall.

    About us

    The Bethesda medical practice is a forward thinking medical practice that aims to provide good medical care with respect and understanding for our patients and staff. The name Bethesda is taken from the Bible and means Place of healing

    The Bethesda Medical Centre is purpose built and situated on a cliff top in Cliftonville on the outskirts of Margate. This modern medical centre was opened in December 2003 with most rooms having sea views. We are a fully computerised PMS practice with a list size of 19,500 patients.

    The practice team consists of 10 doctors (4 partners and 6 salaried GPs ), 5 nurses, 4 HCAs ,a phlebotomist ,Acute Care Team, and admin & ancillary staff. We also have attached staff who are based at the practice or visit, and these include:- Physiotherapists, Ultrasound Service, ophthalmologists and a Headache specialist who hold weekly clinics at the centre.
