Finance Assistant - Business Support

Job summary

Hanham Health are looking for a finance focused business and administrative support assistant. The post-holder will need to be flexible, well-organised, able to manage competing deadlines and provide project support as required.

Some aspects of the role will involve handling confidential information with discretion, sensitively and this will need to be safeguarded appropriately.

The role will work closely with all parts of the organisation and may be required to cover other roles from time to time depending on the needs of the business. There may be a possibility of supporting the wider Business Support Unit team with premises and facilities management and procurement matters, HR, administration, policies and procedures and patient communication and engagement.

Main duties of the job

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable & receivable
  • Reconcile bank account and maintain accurate financial record on Xero
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts and financial reports
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow monitoring
  • Monthly payroll processing and administration support
  • Maintaining accurate petty cash records
  • Managing finance related queries
  • Supporting the Business Support Unit when required
