An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the SLC Medical Group Nursing team.
We are seeking a Practice Nurse to join our well established and structured practice team. Candidates must be qualified to RGN degree level, be registered with the NMC and ideally have previous Primary Care experience.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, dedicated and can demonstrate the ability to give a friendly, caring and professional nursing service to our patients. This includes childhood immunisations and travel vaccinations, dressings and long-term condition reviews. Knowledge in diabetes, respiratory, Women's health, contraception and cervical screening would be an advantage.
This is a part time role and the successful candidate must be able to commit to between 16 - 24 hours per week.

The post
holder is responsible for the delivery of basic practice nursing service care
to the practice population. Supported by Nurse Practitioners within the
practice, they will deliver care within the boundaries of their role, focusing
upon supporting patients to be healthy, monitoring of long-term conditions,
health prevention and screening activities. They will work collaboratively with
the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the
delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership and
mentorship as required. The post holder will also contribute to the practices
delivery of the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF).
