Woodlands
Medical Practice has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reception
Manager to join our friendly Practice team, working across all areas of the
practice.
You will work closely and report to the Practice/Operations Manager. You will be an enthusiastic,
motivated, and dynamic individual with a positive can-do attitude who is able
to organise and co-ordinate a wide range of tasks often within tight timescales
and work well under pressure.
This is an
exciting role and time to be joining our expanding team.
Providing dedicated day to day administrative support to Practice/Operations Manager. Also providing regular support to the reception team Ensure all administrative and clerical requirements are provided in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with practice policies and procedures.
Main duties of the job
Working
as part of the team and carrying out general reception and admin duties such
as answer phones, triage accurex, emis, docman
tasks, prescription requests, room check, match and allocate lab reports.
Set
targets for achievement on reception and administrative work such as telephone
answering, document management, etc and work with the management team in
managing risk and reward.
Overseeing
the administration and support operations of the practice
Line
managing all reception-Admin staff
Identifying
and delivering team training where required.
Reviewing
and updating all administrative and reception policies and procedures as
required
Managing
all deliveries to the practice, ensuring adherence to the cold chain policy as
necessary
Ensure
staff are following practice policies, protocols and procedures and where
necessary, conduct performance reviews
Manage complaints
To take
key responsibility for excellent customer services and ensure excellent patient
experience.
Ensure a
culture of professionalism is maintained within the practice.
Ensure
staff follow the practice code of conduct.
Monitor
and promote the Friends and Family Test to gather patient feedback.
Deputize
for the Practice-Operations Manager during their absence as required.
Stock
check clinical and Admin
Triage
Docman emails and letters before sending to the Clinicians
Audit
e-RS worklist and complete tasks
Maintain
and complete invoices for private work from 3rd parties.
