Ramsbury & Wanborough Surgery is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team. As a Practice we are committed to delivering the best possible care to our registered patient population. Our care is defined by the values that all staff share.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Nurse Practitioner to provide high quality clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation for patients presenting with a wide range of acute and long term conditions. The successful candidate will work autonomously as well as collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team. The primary focus for this role will be on assessment and treatment of minor illness.

aspects of primary care to just over 10,000 patients, with an Outstanding CQC
rating. The practice uses SystmOne clinical system. We are a friendly team
which includes ANPs, Nurses, HCAs, Clinical Pharmacist and a Health &
Wellbeing team.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will provide same day
assessment and care for patients presenting with urgent or acute clinical
needs. This includes both telephone triage and face to face consultations. They
will independently assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with
minor illness, minor injury, or acute exacerbation of chronic conditions,
referring to investigations or external services when required.
The Nurse Practitioner will work
autonomously within their professional competencies, seeking support from the
duty GP as appropriate. Excellent clinical judgement, prioritisation skills,

Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
- Independent Prescriber qualification (V300)
- Experience plus relevant postgraduate Diplomas
- Experience working in Primary Care or General Practice setting
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Desirable
- Experience managing long-term conditions
- Previous experience in a GP surgery setting
- Training in minor illness and/or minor injury management
- MSc or equivalent in Advanced Clinical Practice
