An exciting opportunity has arisen at our established and busy GP practice for a Part- Time Practice Nurse to join our friendly team, on a permanent contract.

Main duties of the job
To undertake all elements of practice nursing in particular
wound care, chromic disease management, cytology, travel and childhood
immunisations. Progression, developmental training may be possible for the right candidate.
We have nursing team members who have progressed from HCAs to Practice Nurses, with our support and others, such as HCAs, who we have helped train to develop their skills.

We are a well-established in our community , in modern, spacious purpose built premises. There is a pharmacy and a Community Nursing team in the same building. We aim to keep a personal and family feel to the way we work with our patients. Some of the practice team have been here for many years and know our patients very well. We also welcome new members of the team who bring with them fresh ideas and skills from previous roles.
Hatfield Health Centre consists of 5 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, 1 Physician Associate, 2 Clinical Pharmacists, plus support from:
Practice nurses
Healthcare Assistants
Physiotherapists
Community Mental Health Nurse
Management Team
Secretaries, Administrators and Receptionists.
