Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Birtley Medical Group for an Administrative Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping deliver high-quality patient care by providing efficient administrative support within our busy practice.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide general administrative support to the management team, including handling invoices, maintaining spreadsheets, managing income processes, and liaising with external bodies. The role also involves routine admin tasks such as filing, emails, and phone calls, all carried out with a professional and patient-focused approach.

The post holder will be responsible for providing general administrative support to the Finance/Nurse/SPLW Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities specific to this post:

- To manage processes for the Practice, including maintaining spreadsheets, liaising with solicitors and external bodies, raising invoices etc

- To provide general admin support including but not limited to; filing, processing invoices, sending and receiving emails, letters and telephone calls

- To work with a customer focused team approach

- Ensure a professional approach to work is adopted at all times
