We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our clinical team. You will play a vital role in supporting patient care and assisting clinicians in delivering services.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Phlebotomy (blood taking)
  • Blood pressure checks, ECGs, and urinalysis
  • NHS Health Checks and lifestyle advice
  • Wound care and dressings
  • Assisting with chronic disease reviews
  • Supporting vaccination clinics (e.g. flu, COVID)
  • Maintaining clinical areas and stock control
  • Accurate documentation and use of SystmOne

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting - preferably primary care.
  • Phlebotomy trained - desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and safeguarding.
