Job summary
We are a busy dual site practice looking for a capable, patient-focused ANP or Paramedic to support our Duty Doctor Team. We already have one Paramedic who works with the Duty Team, and he's been so successful that we're looking for another!
The day-to-day of this role would be working alongside the Duty Doctors to see acute cases, with potential for sub-acute home visits. Our patient population is 24,000 and we have a very varied population, so no two days will never be the same!
We are looking for someone competent in Minor Illness and acute care, who can work with children and adults. Although being a prescriber is not essential, it would be a plus, as would experience working in primary care.
Main duties of the job
The post holder would expertly assess, provide differential diagnosis, and treat acute episodes of minor health, injury, and illness conditions. Working autonomously, you would triage via phone and see patients face-to-face and then, with your professionalcompetencies, organise further tests and follow up as need be.
