About us

19 Beaumont Street Surgery is a dynamic and friendly practice located in the heart of Oxford City Centre. From October 2023 our list size will be expanding as we take on some patients currently registered at Botley Medical Centre. As well as providing care at our traditional city centre premises we will also provide care at the purpose-built medical centre in Botley and we are looking for salaried GPs to join our team.

We have a reputation for providing high quality care to our diverse patient population, made up of patients of varied race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic group, gender identity and geographic regions, speaking a variety of languages.

We are a teaching and training practice educating medical students and the next generation of GPs and are committed to ongoing training and development of all our staff.

The practice places a strong emphasis on our team, inside and outside the practice. We offer structured internal mentorship, daily huddles, regular clinical update meetings & doctor lead triage leading to shorter routine wait times. We always have at least two doctors on duty, usually for a maximum of half a day at a time with a visiting service for urgent home visits. And lots of coffee!

We are a member of Healthier Oxford PCN, made up of 3 other local surgeries. Our growing PCN shares the use of social prescribers, a care coordinator, a health coach, associated first contact musculoskeletal practitioners and a mental health practitioner.
