Job summary

This is an opportunity to join our friendly team of dedicated professionals providing services to some 9,500 patients in the rural market town of Dursley, Gloucestershire. The role of HR, Quality and Compliance Lead is a new role within the surgery to support the Management Team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient and practical individual who is willing to be involved in all aspects of Primary Care within our Surgery.

Ideally we are looking to recruit someone who can work 20 - 30 hours across 5 days.

We are aiming to hold interviews on 17.10.25 and 20.10.25

Main duties of the job

Provide day to day management of HR issues (external HR support available) and electronic staff files.

Oversee the initial management of complaints, monitoring and acting on patient feedback. Role of complaints manager to rest with current management team.

Highlight Significant Events and ensure learning is implemented and embedded.

Ensure mandatory training is undertaken by all staff.

Involvement in the appraisal process with Operations Manager.

Oversee building maintenance and ensure Health and Safety and Infection Control Policies are adhered to.

Implement and maintain all CQC policies to ensure the practice maintains a CQC inspection readiness at all times.

Ensure the practice social media presence is current, informative and engaging to all patient groups.

Active encouragement and involvement with the PPG with a focus on expanding the group and initiating a youth PPG.

Involvement with our GP students and registrars.
