Job summary
To
be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative and telephony duties and the
provision of administrative support to the multidisciplinary team of the AQP
Services (Any Qualified Provider) @ Meanwood which include ENT, Audiology,
Microsuction, Minor Surgery. Duties can include but are not limited to, the processing
of information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner, liaising with
multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and
community service providers and in accordance with current policies, including
the use of the electronic referral service (ERS).
The hours for this role are Monday - Friday 8.30pm - 4pm (maybe negotiable)
35 hours per week.
The interviews for this position will take place on Thursday 13th March 2025.
Main duties of the job
The
following are the core responsibilities of the clinic administrator. There may
be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent
upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:

Answering

Process
e-mails appropriately

post consultation GP letters

Consultations appropriately

Process
referrals using the electronic referral system (ERS)

Process
RAS referrals, printing, registering and texting appointment information

Manage
all administrative queries as necessary

Carry
out system searches as requested
n.
Completing
spreadsheets accurately
o.
Support
all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested
p.
Process
all DNA letters in accordance with current protocol
q. Ordering ENT/Audiology supplies.

Essential
- Educated to O Level / GCSE standard, but certainly with evidence of a sound education with English and Maths as minimum. Evidence of IT literacy.
Experience

- Working in a customer service environment.
- Working with IT equipment.
- Experience of and success at communicating.
- Resilience.
- Experience of working with a team, and promoting team spirit.
Desirable
- Working in a busy office environment.
