Job summary

Byfield Medical Centre are looking for a Receptionist to join our growing, friendly support team. The position is for 22.5 hours per week. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, is a good team player who is able to support patients on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have worked previously in a similar role We are looking for a confident candidate who has an excellent telephone manner and is able to thrive under pressure

Main duties of the job

Your duties will include answering telephone calls , giving out prescriptions and general admin within the Practice. There will also be online training . It is very important to have a 'can do' attitude. It is also important to be flexible to be able to cover shifts when required.

Byfield Medical Centre is set in a beautiful rural village on the borders of Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. We have 8300 patients, we have two GP Partners, four Salaried GPs, two practice Nurses, one HCA and a Clinical Pharmacist. We have just been voted number one practice in Northamptonshire via the NHS patient survey.
