Job summary
The role of the job is to provide efficient administrative
support to the PCN to ensure effective delivery of care to the
patients of the our PCN. The post-holder is a key member of the PCN team whose over-arching goal is to support and co-ordinate the goals of
our PCN to ensure high level care to our patients.
Main duties of the job
Provide administrative support to the PCN through various tasks. Appointment session management
Rota management
Liaise with practice within the PCN
Produce system reports using EMIS, Rotacoud, Raidr
Direct patient contact

- Qualifications and Experience of working in a practice or PCN developing rotas and coordinating between patients, clinical and administrative staff
- Evidence of a commitment to continuing professional development
- Administrative support experience
- Experience and success of communicating with people
- Relevant knowledge of Primary Care Networks, General Practice and the wider Health and Social Care policies
- Computer literate with an ability to use EMIS and Microsoft office packages
- Has attention to detail, able to work accurately
- Has a planned and organized approach with an ability to prioritize their own workload to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to adjust communication style and content to suit the audience
- An excellent understanding of data protection and confidentiality issues
- Works effectively independently and as a member of a team
- Continued commitment to improve skills and ability in new areas of work
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Able to undertake the demands of the post with reasonable adjustments if required
- Independently mobile to be able to work across several sites and travel to meet with stakeholders
