Main duties of the job
As a Healthcare Assistant, youll be at the heart of patient
care offering support, reassurance, and a friendly face when its needed
most. Every day will bring opportunities to make a difference, whether thats
through a kind word, a listening ear, or a practical skill that helps someone
feel better.
Your role will include:
Providing NHS Health Checks to help patients understand and
improve their health
Performing ECGs with care and attention to detail
Fitting ambulatory blood pressure monitors and explaining
the process clearly
Taking blood samples (phlebotomy) in a calm and reassuring
way
Applying simple dressings to support healing and comfort

We're a vibrant, forward-thinking practice in Barnsley, run by partners who are passionate about making a real difference in healthcare. One of our partners also serves as the Clinical Director for our Primary Care Network, which means we combine outstanding leadership with hands-on clinical expertise.
