Job summary
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated General Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team at Irchester Surgery.
Youll be supported by a clinical and administrative team, with regular clinical meetings, protected CPD time, and a genuine focus on patient wellbeing. We use SystmOne and offer a structured and sustainable workload.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a part time salaried GP for 4 sessions per week.
The GP will be required to provide:
High-quality, patient-centred medical care to the registered population, including acute, chronic, and preventative services.
Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations, making clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Prescribe medication and manage repeat prescriptions in accordance with practice and national guidelines.
Deliver appropriate follow-up care and referral to secondary or specialist services as needed.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical records using the practices clinical system, which is systmone.
Support the practice in achieving QOF, IIF, and other contractual targets.
Take part in clinical audits, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive working environment.
About us
We are a small and friendly GP Practice based in Irchester Surgery, we have roughly just over 4000 patients. We have 3 Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 1 Chronic Illness Nurse, 1 Practice Nurse and 1 Health Care Assistant. We have a small team of reception and admin staff.
