Healthcare are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to work alongside our highly
skilled multi-disciplinary team that includes Practice Nurses, Advanced Nurse
Practitioners, Urgent Care Nurses, Paramedic/Urgent care Practitioners,
Clinical Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and Mental Health Nurses. We are a
busy practice that provides a service to approximately 38, 000 patients.
You will have
good communication skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion whilst ensuring
privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times, be able to work under
pressure, and work within a large team.
The role will
offer you great variety including assisting in ophthalmology clinics,
haematology clinics, and contraception clinics.
Training to NVQ
level 2 / 3 desirable, as is previous experience in venepuncture, wound care,
blood pressure and ECGs.
Main duties of the job
Be part of the primary
healthcare team providing high quality and forward thinking nursing care in
order to meet the holistic healthcare needs of the practice population. The post holder will provide clinical care as
directed by the Lead Nurses. Working under the supervision of the Lead Nurses, responsibilities will vary, involving the
implementation of clinical care packages, phlebotomy and assessment, treatment
and the evaluation of patients care.

About us
There will be a
requirement to move between sites. Hours
to be arranged between 8.00 and and 8.00 pm Monday to Friday, with rota participation on a Saturday from 9am to 5pm .
