Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who
has proven experience within a primary care setting to undertake clinical
coding of hospital/clinic and miscellaneous correspondence within the practice.
Main duties of the job
This role will include daily processing of all incoming correspondence to the surgery, received either physically or electronically by scanning and actioning as necessary in order to maintain accurate patient medical records.
The ideal candidate will be able to extract the necessary data from correspondence using workflow optimisation and input this via clinical coding using SNOMED-CT, or distribute as needed to other members of the team for action.
